Maintenance Director Imboden Creek Senior Living & Rehabilitation – Decatur, Illinois Imboden Creek Senior Living & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Director to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and safety of our facility. Our community provides short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite services in a comfortable, homelike environment where residents and staff feel like family. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our building, equipment, and grounds remain safe, functional, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities Include Performing routine maintenance and preventative maintenance throughout the facility Painting, drywall repair, and general building upkeep Troubleshooting and repairing small equipment and facility systems Maintaining the overall appearance and safety of the building and grounds Ensuring the exterior of the facility remains clean, safe, and presentable Coordinating with outside vendors for specialized inspections and maintenance such as: Fire alarm systems Sprinkler systems Kitchen hood systems Other required preventative maintenance services Responding to maintenance requests from staff and assisting departments as needed Qualifications Experience with building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs Working knowledge of general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, painting, and drywall Ability to troubleshoot equipment and facility issues Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable interacting with residents, staff, and visitors in a healthcare environment Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening Benefits Full-time employees are eligible for a competitive benefits package including: Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off Pay: Negotiable based on experience Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person – Decatur, Illinois Imboden Creek Senior Living & Rehabilitation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
