Endpoint Systems Engineer
Overview:
In this role you will support and improve endpoint operations for a large organization, focusing on scalable automation, reliability, and efficiency. You will work with cross-functional partners to design and implement engineering solutions that reduce manual effort and enhance store and enterprise endpoints. You will build and validate automation scripts, primarily with PowerShell, and help ensure smooth deployments and ongoing endpoint stability. This is a long-term contract opportunity that offers meaningful impact through robust endpoint engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Design and enhance endpoint automation workflows to boost efficiency at scale
- Create, test, and deploy PowerShell, batch, and other scripts to install, configure, and update apps
- Establish validation processes to verify device configurations during deployments and hardware replacements
- Develop redundancy strategies to improve resilience of endpoint services
- Contribute to planning and improvement of technical support systems for stable operations
- Evaluate and certify store-environment software, including vendor updates
- Build tools and routines to minimize manual tasks and automate recurring admin work
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to identify endpoint issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions
