Team members are part of a company with a heritage of leadership, focused on shaping the future and dedicated to alleviating pain and improving the quality of life for people around the world.bout the RoleThe Client is focused on orthopedic medical devices for the foot and ankle, is hiring a Quality Inspector I (Temporary) to join the Quality Lab.The Quality Inspector I is responsible for:Inspection of materials, assemblies, work-in-progress, and finished medical devicesCompleting documentation to determine conformance to specificationsReleasing product for distribution and use This is a 100% onsite position located in Englewood, Colorado. Job ResponsibilitiesPerform receiving inspection of materials, work-in-progress, finished parts, and assemblies, including completion of associated paperwork for final product release.Conduct visual inspections according to documented specifications.Measure product features per documented specifications and inspection checklists.Generate accurate documentation of measured characteristics for non-conforming products and properly identify products according to procedures.Monitor calibration status of inspection equipment.dditional responsibilities may include:Product labeling and packaging as neededVerifying, scanning, and filing documentsssisting with identifying product status and organizing productsOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma plus 1-2 years of quality experience preferredssociate degree preferredExperience with dimensional measurement equipment such as:MicrometersCalipersGage pinsDial indicatorsKnowledge and experience with precision measuring equipment such as:CMMVision SystemsBasic understanding of print reading and GD&T per ASME Y14.5Familiarity with:21 CFR 820ISO 13485Other government/ISO standards preferredbility to follow standard operating proceduresStrong attention to detail and ability to work with small componentsGood handwriting and communication skillsBasic computer skills (MS Word, Excel)Knowledge of machined components is a plus
