Job Summary and Responsibilities
High School education or equivalent in work experience current CPR certification
Performs electroencephalographic tests and other neurological examinations as requested
Assists physicians as requested
Participates in Ambulatory Services Depart support activities
One (1) year recent experience as an EEG technician in an acute care facility
Certification as an EEG technician preferred.
Job Requirements
Currently working towards obtaining EEG certification from ABRET.
Demonstrates knowledge and application skills of common neurological testing and procedures.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others across all departments and neurologists.
Accurately assess patient's physical and emotional condition.
Provides accurate and complete documentation.
Current CPR certification required.
