Employer-paid Employee Assistance and Travel Programs Medical, Dental, Vision Voluntary Benefits URINALYSIS TECHNICIAN Prepares materials/paperwork for collection of urine specimens. Collects and handles urine samples for testing. Monitors urine collection. Follows the established procedures for specimen collection, including personal observation of client. Promotes and demonstrates the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Embrave. Develops and maintains good working relationships with all departments, the management team, regulatory agencies and community partners. Embraces cultural diversity amongst ourselves and our community. Responsible for the human, financial, and material resources as well as data and information entrusted to us. Greet clients at the front desk when they arrive. Verify Reason for clients visit. Enroll new clients for testing procedures. Schedule clients for randomized or single case testing. Assist in maintaining the calendar for EMS (Electronic Monitoring) appointments. Follow all policies and procedures regarding client identity collection, verification, and proper storage. Follow all policies and procedures regarding sample collection. Perform UA’s, BA’s, and Hair Follicle sample collection. Communicate with Courts, Probation/Parole officers, and local businesses regarding testing procedures, prices, and results. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of regulations surrounding drug testing sample collection (HIPPAA, SAMSHA, FMCSA). Any other job duties as assigned.
