SummaryResponsible for handling day-to-day information technology (IT) operations including providing systems support for end users, maintaining hardware and software inventories, support for hardware devices and software packages deployments, and help with installation setups. The Systems Administrator reports directly to the Director of Health Information Technology.Principal Duties And ResponsibilitiesMaintains inventory of installed software and computers. Provide timely technical support for users and work with them to solve existing problems. Point person for software application installations. Manages process for domain disabled accounts and disabled computers. Analyzes and makes recommendations for hardware and software standardization. Suggests and develops basic group policy settings. Troubleshoot desktop and laptops issues, PDA, printer, phone and cell phone issues. Develops/maintains IT documentation. Tests and implement service pack and security upgrades to all computers. Escalates issues to IT Manager or IT Director, as needed. Manages special projects as assigned by IT manager or IT Director. Responsible to monitor and resolve ticket assignments within department SLA’s and respond to customers upon receiving a new ticket Responsible to respond and collaborate with helpdesk team members to ensure department SLA’s are met communicating and resolving customer tickets Create images and deploy through SCCM. Setup and troubleshoot fax and efax issues. Mange servers and create VM’s when needed. Review and remediate desktop and server virus alerts reported. Hires, supervises and evaluates Junior Systems Administrator.
