Jarraff OperatorThe Jarraff Operator operates heavy equipment of various types to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines.Essential functions include following and enforcing safe practices, assisting in preparing equipment, operating equipment as directed, maintaining and repairing equipment, assisting other crew members, cleaning up debris, setting up barriers, staying informed on new equipment and practices, tracking mileage, and performing duties for storm work as needed.Supervisory responsibilities include no direct reports.Experience requirements include prior heavy equipment operating experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
