From job costing to reporting and reconciliations, your work will help ensure accuracy, visibility, and strong financial performance across active projects.Company HighlightsCompetitive salary range: $65,000–$75,000, based on experienceJoin a stable, reputable leader in the construction industryHands-on exposure to project accounting, job costing, and WIP reportingCollaborative, team-oriented culture with strong support and mentorshipClear path for career growth and long-term advancementKey Responsibilities for the Project Accounting Specialist:Maintain and reconcile the general ledger in accordance with GAAPPrepare journal entries and support the month-end and year-end closeAssist with accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment trackingPerform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliationsSupport job costing processes, WIP schedules, and project financial trackingMonitor project budgets, costs, billing, and performance metricsAssist with financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysisIdentify discrepancies and ensure accuracy across financial dataSupport audit requests and provide documentation as neededPartner with internal teams to support smooth and accurate financial operationsQualifications for the Project Accounting Specialist:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred2–5+ years of accounting experience (construction or project-based experience a plus)Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principlesExperience with accounting/ERP systems (construction software a bonus)Strong Excel skills and overall Microsoft Office proficiencyClose attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetReady to Apply?Submit your resume today for immediate consideration!Want to explore more opportunities?
