We support commercial, industrial, healthcare, government, and mission critical clients nationwide.Position SummaryESM Engineers is seeking a motivated and technically capable Remote Electrical Engineering Coordinator / Project Support Engineer to support our growing electrical engineering team.This role is ideal for an engineer who wants hands-on involvement in real projects while working remotely. The position combines electrical engineering support, project coordination, technical documentation, and client communication.Preference will be given to candidates located in Houston or major metropolitan markets where occasional in-person meetings, client interaction, travel coordination, or future hybrid opportunities may be beneficial.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Engineering SupportAssist with electrical design packages for commercial and industrial projectsPrepare panel schedules, load calculations, feeder schedules, and equipment schedulesSupport one-line diagrams and power distribution layoutsAssist with lighting layouts and circuiting plansSupport arc flash, short circuit, and coordination study data collectionPrepare markups, redlines, and drawing revisionsAssist with permit and construction document packagesReview submittals for completeness prior to engineer reviewSupport commissioning reports, startup checklists, and field documentationCoordinate RFIs, bulletins, and design revisionsProject / Operations SupportTrack deadlines, deliverables, and project milestonesCoordinate meetings with clients, contractors, and vendorsMaintain action item logs and project status updatesHelp leadership maintain project execution flowmanage workflow for the team Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (required)FE certification (Engineer in Training) or ability to obtain within 12 months of hireStrong understanding of electrical systems and power distribution fundamentalsStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable communicating in a bilingual English/Spanish work environmentHighly organized and detail-orientedAbility to work independently in a remote environmentProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PDF softwareMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorshipPreferred QualificationsSpanish fluency or professional working proficiency strongly preferredCandidates located in Houston strongly preferredCandidates in MAJOR metropolitan cities are encouraged to applyExperience with AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, SKM, Bluebeam, or similar softwareExperience in consulting engineering, construction, manufacturing, utilities, or commissioning preferredFamiliarity with NEC and common industry standards preferredInterest in pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferredIdeal CandidateWants real project experience and growthStrong communicator who can interact professionally with clients and peersResponsive and dependableTakes ownership of assignmentsLearns quickly and solves problemsComfortable in a fast-paced environmentWorks well with multicultural teamsCompensationCompetitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
