MICROSOFT PRESALES ENGINEER
Position Description
The Presales Engineer will work with the Procentrix Research and Development and Sales teams to identify industry needs, develop repeatable solutions based on the Microsoft platform and demonstrate these solutions to prospects. The Engineer will also engage with customers and prospects to understand their specific challenges and objectives. The Engineer will assess their Microsoft software license resources and needs, and design the best way to use existing solutions, and use the Platform to configure new solutions that address the customer’s needs. Responsibilities include:
Engage in interactions with prospects, customers, and team members to gather, organize, and evaluate business requirements
Document and review the business requirements with various business and technology stakeholders
Coordinate with team members to derive business solutions
Assist in creating tailored presentations and proposals
Configure services from Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform (Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate Flow, Power BI, Power Pages Power Virtual Agents), Microsoft Azure, and Procentrix solution Frameworks
Create solutions that can be demonstrated to prospects
The projected compensation range for this position is $120K to $180K (annualized USD). The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal pay equity, location, contract-specific affordability and other organizational requirements.
Required Skills
3 to 5 years of experience as presales engineer focused on Microsoft Dynamics and the Power Platform with an emphasis on application development projects
2 to 3 years of experience as presales engineer designing and demonstrating Microsoft Azure based application development solutions
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform, including hands-on experience configuring Dynamics and Power platform solutions
Experience facilitating business requirements gathering and definition
Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
Experience working on consulting engagements with direct customer facing interaction
Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
Must be a US Citizen
One or more of the following Microsoft certifications:
Customer Data Platform Specialty
Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant Associate
Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM)
Dynamics 365 Sales Functional Consultant Associate
Power Apps + Dynamics 365 Developer Associate
Power BI Data Analyst Associate
Power Platform App Maker Associate
Power Platform Developer Associate
Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
Desirable Skills
Proven high energy performer, accustomed to working in a fast-paced workplace
