Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler Superintendent to oversee field operations on fire protection projects, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity. This role is hands-on and crucial in leading and coordinating crews, maintaining schedules, and serving as the key field liaison between the office and job site. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, deep field knowledge, and a passion for delivering high-quality fire sprinkler installations.
Responsibilities:
Field Supervision & Project Execution
Supervise daily fire sprinkler installation activities on assigned projects
Coordinate field crews, foremen, and subcontractors to meet project schedules
Review project drawings, specifications, and scope prior to and during construction
Ensure installations comply with NFPA standards, local codes, and project requirements
Monitor job progress and provide updates to Project Management
Safety & Quality Control
Enforce company safety policies and jobsite safety standards
Conduct jobsite safety meetings and ensure proper use of PPE
Identify and correct unsafe conditions or work practices
Maintain high quality workmanship and perform field quality inspections
Coordination & Communication
Serve as the primary on-site contact for general contractors, inspectors, and other trades
Coordinate inspections, testing, and closeout activities
Resolve field issues, conflicts, and scope clarifications in a timely manner
Communicate manpower needs, material requirements, and schedule impacts
Labor, Materials & Documentation
Plan and manage manpower levels to align with project schedules
Verify material deliveries and ensure proper staging and use on site
Track job progress, daily reports, and field documentation
Assist with change order identification and field documentation
Verify labor time sheets
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience in fire sprinkler installation, with supervisory experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes and fire protection systems
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required
OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Salary Description
$75,000 - 84,000
