This position is actively involved in providing clinical services in the OSU System. Additionally, teaching of medical students and residents. Appropriate effort and activity in clinical research and service will also be necessary as well as a clinical record of sufficient depth to qualify for faculty appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor. The position will work with existing Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences faculty.Required QualificationsM.D./D.O.; Doctor of Osteopathy or Medical Doctor; Psychiatry or related (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)Certifications, Registrations, And/or Licenses:Eligibility for licensure in the State of OklahomaBoard certification by the AOA or ABMS, or board eligibilitySkills, Proficiencies, And/or Knowledge:Knowledge of all areas related to the clinical practice of psychiatry.Requires strong analytical skills, advanced multi-tasking skills, advanced problem-solving skills, practice management experience, and the ability to effectively plan.Computer skills are needed to operate electronic medical records.Good communication and leadership skills are a positive.Interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with faculty, students, clients and providers.Valid Driver's License Preferred QualificationsTeaching Experience Certifications, Registrations, And/or Licenses:Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
