This is a fully remote role with intentional quarterly in-person collaboration, offering the opportunity to play a key role in building and enhancing the company’s accounting infrastructure.This position is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who can operate both in the weeds and at a higher level, bringing structure, discipline, and continuous improvement to core accounting processes.Position SummaryThe Senior Accountant will be a critical contributor to the accounting function, supporting month-end close, financial reporting, and process optimization. This individual will work closely with leadership, including the Controller and CFO, to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and scalability of financial operations as the company continues to grow.The ideal candidate brings a builder mindset—someone who has experience operating in environments where processes are being refined, systems are evolving, and expectations are high.Key ResponsibilitiesMonth-End Close & Financial ReportingExecute and support the full-cycle month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial resultsPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsProcess Improvement & ScalabilityIdentify inefficiencies in current accounting workflows and implement improvementsSupport the development and documentation of accounting policies and proceduresPartner with leadership to enhance close timelines and reporting accuracyTechnical Accounting & ComplianceEnsure adherence to GAAP and internal accounting policiesAssist with audit readiness, including preparation of schedules and coordination with external auditorsSupport technical accounting research and implementation as neededSystems & Data IntegrityWork within ERP systems (NetSuite or similar) to ensure accurate financial dataAssist with system enhancements, integrations, or transformations as the business scalesMaintain strong data integrity across financial systems and reporting toolsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with FP&A, operations, and other business units to support financial visibilityProvide insights into financial trends, variances, and performance driversSupport ad hoc analysis and special projects, including M&A or integration activitiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3–6+ years of progressive accounting experienceExperience in private equity-backed, high-growth, or dynamic environments strongly preferredStrong understanding of month-end close and financial reporting processesExperience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)CPA or CPA-track preferredProfile of SuccessHands-on, detail-oriented, and accountableComfortable operating in environments where structure is evolvingStrong communicator with the ability to work cross-functionallyProactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvementAbility to balance execution with strategic thinkingWhy This RoleOpportunity to join a growing, PE-backed platform at a critical stage of developmentHigh visibility with leadership and direct impact on financial operationsFully remote flexibility with structured in-person collaborationExposure to transformation initiatives, process improvement, and potential M&A activity
