Techne is a Jacksonville-based digital advertising agency that does things the way they should be done. Real people, real strategy, real accountability. We use AI to work smarter, but our clients work with us, and we're looking for someone who gets the difference.TARGETThis is a senior individual contributor role for someone who has been around long enough to know how things should run and gets frustrated when they don't. You'll own a portfolio of client accounts across political and public affairs verticals, driving strategy, managing execution, and being the person clients actually want to talk to. No hand-holding. No ambiguity. Just ownership.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAccount Ownership — Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients. Manage expectations, drive strategy, and deliver results they can see.Campaign Execution — Build and manage campaigns hands-on across Meta, Google (Search, Display, YouTube), X/Twitter, TikTok, and programmatic DSPs including IQM, StackAdapt and The Trade Desk. Manage direct insertion orders with media outlets. You know the platforms, you don't need someone to walk you through them.Pacing & Optimization — Own delivery. Continuously evaluate and refine inventory sources, site lists, placement performance, deal IDs, and targeting parameters across DSPs to improve delivery quality, reduce waste, and maximize performance for each client's goals. Monitor performance daily, identify problems before clients do, and make the calls to fix them.Reporting & Communication — Translate campaign data into clear, confident client-facing reporting. Weekly updates, strategy calls, and anything else the relationship requires.QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of hands-on experience in digital advertising, with direct experience executing campaigns in at least one major DSP (StackAdapt, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP) and PPC platforms (Meta, Google Ads, X/Twitter). Knowing the platforms means knowing them, not supervising someone else who does.Interest in politics or public affairs — Preferred but not required. We work on high-stakes campaigns and the news cycle matters here. Timeliness is essential.Location — Must be US-based. We are a remote-first company but most of our team is located in or near Jacksonville, FL. Being located in Jacksonville is a strong plus.PERKSCompensation commensurate with experience.
