(Please visit www.Korda.com.)As a consulting engineer, your task is to design and analyze the following building systems and prepare the drawings and specifications for bidding and construction by contractors:480/277v and 208/120v power distribution systemsEmergency power distribution systemsDiesel and natural gas fueled emergency generatorsInverters and UPS systemsSolar power PV energy generation systemsLighting design for parking lots, roadway, and exterior areasLighting design for all types of interior spacesLighting control systems- auto sensing, dimming, color controlFire alarm systemsProviding power to mechanical systemsNurse Call and medical telemetry systemsWriting descriptive system narrativesWriting and editing specifications in CSI formatOur responsibilities include interpreting and applying local and national code requirements and other design standards to ensure the safety of the public in the use of electrical systems in commercial buildings.To be successful in this position, it is necessary to possess:Excellent time management and communication skillsAbility to work on multiple projects in a collaborative environmentGood social skills, as you represent our company at client meetingsWillingness to learn new skills and to work towards continuous improvementWillingness to work additional time as required to meet project deadlinesQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or another Engineering degree with significant course work or work experience related to Electrical EngineeringNew Graduate or 1 to 3 years of experienceMust be interested in pursuing professional registrationMust be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States and authorized to work on a full-time basis.
