Entry-Level CNC Plasma Operator
Pay: $18–$24/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time | 40 hours/week
Location: St. George, UT
We’re looking for a reliable, motivated Entry-Level CNC Plasma Operator to join our growing fabrication shop. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in welding and CNC fabrication. Prior CNC experience is not required—we’re willing to train the right person.
Some welding or shop experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
Operate a CNC plasma table to cut steel and other materials
Load and unload material using forklifts or overhead cranes (training provided)
Perform basic machine setup, part removal, and cleanup
Inspect parts for accuracy and quality
Assist with grinding, deburring, and material handling as needed
Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
Work closely with welders and shop leadership to meet production goals
Requirements
Willingness to learn and take direction
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Basic mechanical aptitude
Ability to stand, lift, and work in a fabrication shop environment
Dependable and punctual
Preferred (but not required)
Welding or fabrication experience
Forklift or overhead crane experience
Ability to read basic shop drawings
