You'll be responsible for maintaining the overall functionality and appearance of the property while responding to service requests and supporting unit turnovers. Your work ensures residents feel comfortable in their homes and confident in the service they receive.Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage the repair/replacement processes on HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, plumbing systems, electrical systems, appliances, and pool control systemsManage and maintain work orders, turnover of vacant units, and scheduling contractors for estimates and approved contracted workPerform routine and scheduled maintenance tasks to include; grounds care, common areas, trash and recycling, safety inspections, monthly and quarterly inspections, and preventative maintenanceAssist in maintaining the operating budget for turnovers, R&M, and capex budgeted itemsReport accidents, emergency, or safety concerns to supervisor immediatelySupport additional properties as needed in the assigned areaParticipate in the on-call rotation scheduleDemonstrate and follow the Oakbrook ValuesAll other duties as assignedAre You the Maintenance Technician We're Looking For?The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, solutions‑focused, and able to manage multiple priorities throughout the day.
