Details Acute care Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting with 34 beds Patient population includes geriatric and adult patients; occasional pediatric patients are not assigned to travelers Patient types include telemetry, surgical, and general medical cases Patient ratio of 6:1 Equipment used includes Alaris pumps, SCD machines, feeding tubes, and telemetry monitors EMR: Cerner Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Occasional weekend shifts required (same 12-hour shift hours apply) On-call required only when understaffed or placed on call Floating may include coverage for inpatient holds 13-week contract Requirements Active AZ or Compact RN license required AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS Minimum 1 year of RN experience required for travel consideration Telemetry experience preferred Must be able to work in an acute care Med/Surg environment Social Security number required for consideration Date of birth required for consideration Must not reside within 60 miles of the facility Additional Information Any color scrubs are acceptable; closed-toe shoes required for clinical staff Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment First-time travelers are not encouraged — over one year of experience is required for travel candidates American Traveler Job ID P-687786.
