Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - CVICU/n/nJob Details:/n• CVICU experience preferred with 2 years of nursing experience required/n• Patient ratios of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends/n• Weekend coverage as needed/n• 36 or 48 contracted hours per week with guaranteed hours/n• No on-call requirements/n• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS/n• Black scrubs required/n• Charting system: Cerner/n• 72-hour orientation period/n• May float to other ICUs, PCU floors, ED for admitted patients, and PACU for admitted patients/n• Care for adult and geriatric patients in 12-bed unit/n• Handle post-op open hearts, bedside procedures, CRRT, ECMO, IABP, Impella procedures/n• Manage patients with CABG, aortic aneurysm repairs, cardiac arrests, heart failure, and sepsis/n• Work with specialized equipment including CRRT, Hemosphere, ultrasound, Phillips monitors, ECMO, and Arctic Sun/n• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only/n• No locals within 100-mile radius accepted/n• Minimum 10-week contract length required/n• RTO restrictions apply with approval needed for requests over 7 days/n/nFacility:/nThis Level I Trauma and teaching hospital operates as a comprehensive medical center with 554 staffed beds, including a children's hospital component.
