Public Area Attendant

Job ResponsibilitiesClean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices and exterior public areasPerform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, emptying carts of soiled linens, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash, insects and debris and emptying ashtraysGreet guests in a friendly mannerPerform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as neededAssist in delivering guest requests.Job RequirementsPrevious cleaning experience preferredPrevious customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or related establishment preferredIdentification verifying you are at least 18 years of ageThe ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysThe ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs.)The desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environmentThe ability and desire to work independently with little supervisionMulti-tasking skillsStrong communication skills - the ability to speak, read, and write in the English LanguageThe ability to learn quickly and work in fast-paced position with guest interactionMust have good driving record and valid driver's license.Equal Opportunity Employer
