We value accountability, integrity, collaboration, and a positive, vibrant work environment.Job Summary:The Mix & Nut Production Supervisor is responsible for the daily execution, material accuracy, labor efficiency, food safety compliance, and team performance across Mix Production and Nut Mix operations.This role owns output, accuracy, and discipline for both dry mix and nut mix production. The Supervisor ensures production meets schedule, quality, safety, and cost targets every day.This is a highly hands-on leadership position that requires constant presence on the production floor. The Supervisor works directly with operators, assists with production activities when needed, and actively supports material handling, equipment setup, and line troubleshooting.This role is expected to lead from the floor, not from an office.Performance is measured by results, operational discipline, and the ability to keep production running efficiently and safely.ResponsibilitiesLeadership, Team Development & AccountabilityLead, coach, and hold accountable Mix and Nut Production Leads and OperatorsMaintain a strong hands-on presence on the production floor throughout the shiftConduct regular 1:1s with key team membersSet clear expectations for safety, quality, accuracy, and performanceEnforce attendance, conduct, and performance standardsTrain employees across all mix and nut production positionsAddress performance issues immediatelyStep in and assist with production operations when staffing shortages or production demands require itEnsure cross-training and coverage between mix and nut linesExpected Result: A disciplined, cross-trained team that executes daily production without rework or escalation.Daily Mix & Nut Production ExecutionLead daily production startup and execution for mix and nut linesEnsure production orders are reviewed, released, and completed correctlyEnsure all lines are staffed, supplied, and started on timeMonitor throughput, labor utilization, and efficiencyIntervene immediately when performance deviates from planEnsure nut mix operations follow allergen and cross-contact controlsMaintain clean, organized, and GMP-compliant work areasProvide hands-on support during line setup, changeovers, and production issuesExpected Result: Production targets are met on time, in full, and to quality standards across all mix operations.Material Planning, Accuracy & ERP DisciplinePlan daily raw material needs for mix and nut productionCreate and execute daily pick ticketsEnforce FIFO and lot control 100 percent of the timeEnsure accurate staging of ingredients for both mix and nut linesAssist with ingredient handling and staging when required to support production flowReconcile end-of-day ingredient and nut inventoryEnsure ERP consumption and output are entered accuratelyExpected Result: 100 percent inventory accuracy with zero unexplained variances.Food Safety, GMP, HACCP & SQF ComplianceEnforce GMP, HACCP, SQF, and allergen control requirementsEnsure nut handling, segregation, and sanitation controls are followedComplete CCP documentation accurately and on timeVerify metal detector, weight, and pallet checksEnsure lot and case code accuracyMaintain audit-ready conditions at all timesImmediately address food safety or sanitation deviations on the floorExpected Result: Clean audits, zero food and production bottlenecksImprove changeovers, material flow, and labor utilizationPartner with Maintenance on equipment reliability and downtime reductionSupport trials, new products, and process changesExpected Result: Improving throughput, reduced errors, and stable operations.Physical RequirementsThis role requires regular physical activity in a manufacturing environment.The Mix & Nut Production Supervisor must be able to:Lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds regularlyAssist operators with ingredient handling, bag loading, and material staging when neededStand and walk for extended periods during production shiftsWork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with dust, noise, and temperature variationPerform repetitive bending, reaching, and lifting activitiesThis is a hands-on production leadership role, and the Supervisor is expected to actively support production operations when required.QualificationsRequired:High School Diploma or equivalent3-5 years food manufacturing experience2+ years lead or supervisory experienceERP manufacturing experienceGMP and HACCP knowledgePreferred:SQF experienceForklift certificationCore Skills:Strong leadership, coaching,
