Server Assistant

The Runner at Craig’s Nashville plays a key role in delivering dishes with grace, precision, and urgency. This role is the bridge between the kitchen and the guest, requiring clear communication, careful handling of food, and a strong sense of timing. Runners represent the final step before the guest experiences each dish — accuracy, warmth, and presentation matter in every delivery.  Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver food from the kitchen to the correct table and guest with proper position numbers and descriptions. In the event the server is not present – Make sure all guests have what they need before leaving the table. Confirm accuracy and presentation of each dish before leaving the kitchen. Communicate special instructions, dietary needs, or modifications clearly and discreetly. Support servers by monitoring guest needs and maintaining awareness of table flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line, delivery trays, and service stations. Assist with silverware rollups, resetting tables, and other sidework as needed.  Qualifications & ExperiencePrior experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant preferred. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Able to carry large trays and move swiftly through a busy dining room. Team-oriented, reliable, and professional in appearance and attitude.  Work Environment & Physical RequirementsMust be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods. Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs safely. Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
