Rendering Maintenance Mechanic
Thompson First Group is seeking a Rendering Maintenance Mechanic for a direct hire role with a local client in Millsboro, DECandidates that have experience with Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting and repair from a manufacturing setting are encouraged to apply.??Essential Job Functions and DutiesInstall, assemble, and test new machines and equipment.Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment.Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections.Adhere to all safety requirements, including personal protective equipment (PPE), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, and following lockout-tagout procedures and process safety management guidelines.Perform emergency repairs, requiring the ability to troubleshoot promptly and effectively.QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED, technical or vocational training, or a combination of on-the-job, informal, and formal training.7-9 years' experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, preferably in manufacturing.Skill sets such as welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, fabrication, etc., with certifications required.Must demonstrate proven ability in 4-5 of the following technical skill areas:Maintenance FundamentalsElectrical PowerMechanical ConceptsElectrical ControlsPneumaticsHydraulicsAnalog & Drive ControlPLCsWelding SMAWWelding GTAWPossesses advanced general maintenance skills including welding (Arc/Stick/TIG), math for mechanics, assembly, conveyors, wiring, motors and motor controls, mechanical drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, fabrication, and safety.Demonstrated proficiency with routine general preventative maintenance and repairs and non-routine high-level emergency repairs.Skills and Certifications:MechanicalHydraulicsWeldingTrouble ShootingElectricalPLCs?
