MCO Verification Specialist

Curis Services - SUMMARY: The MCO Verification Specialist provides financial, clerical, and administrator services to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate payment of accounts.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Run monthly all payer verification.Obtain authorization for Medicare B services.Maintain daily records of admissions/discharges and status change within facility.Assist with medical plan changes.Investigate and resolve customer queries.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Accounts Receivable: 1 year experience, required.Experience in Long Term Care industry, preferred.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
