Program Coordinator (PC) – Supported Living *Excel Supported Living, Inc.* Are you an experienced DSP or direct-care professional who is ready to take the next step into leadership? Excel Supported Living is looking for a dependable, organized, and compassionate *Program Coordinator (PC)* to help lead and support our residential programs serving adults with developmental disabilities. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working directly with individuals while also coaching staff, coordinating services, solving problems, and helping ensure each home operates safely and successfully. *Why This Role Is Different* As a Program Coordinator, you are more than a direct-care provider. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Support, coach, and provide direction to Direct Support Professionals and Lead DSPs. * Coordinate weekly staffing schedules and assist with coverage when necessary. * Visit assigned homes regularly to monitor client care, documentation, health, safety, and overall home operations. * Ensure staff understand and follow Individual Instruction and Support Plans, behavioral plans, safety plans, protocols, and other client-specific requirements. * Monitor Therap documentation, MARs, goal tracking, behavior tracking, and other required records. * Coordinate medical, dental, and specialty appointments and ensure required follow-up is completed. * Assist with incident reporting and promptly communicate concerns to the Program Manager. * Support staff development through coaching, training, and follow-up. * Maintain positive communication with guardians, families, employees, and members of each client's support team. * Help ensure assigned homes remain clean, safe, organized, and compliant. * Encourage client choice, independence, community involvement, and quality of life. * Participate in on-call/emergency support as assigned. * Provide direct client support and assist with shift coverage when needed. *This Is a Hands-On Leadership Position* This is *not a traditional office management position*. Program Coordinators work primarily in our clients' homes and remain actively involved in service delivery. You should be comfortable moving between leadership responsibilities, client coordination, documentation oversight, staff support, and direct care when necessary. We want applicants to understand the position from the beginning so you can determine whether this type of leadership role is the right fit for you. *Who We're Looking For* We are looking for someone who: * Takes initiative and follows through. * Communicates clearly and professionally. * Can coach employees while maintaining accountability. * Is organized and able to manage several priorities at once. * Notices problems and works toward solutions. * Can work independently while knowing when to involve the Program Manager. * Understands the importance of documentation and regulatory compliance. * Is comfortable working in a fast-paced supported-living environment. * Genuinely values the rights, choices, dignity, and independence of the individuals we support. *Minimum Qualifications* * At least 18 years of age. * High School Diploma. * Valid driver's license. * Reliable, safe, and insured vehicle. * Ability to successfully complete required DSHS background screening. * Ability to meet company driving requirements. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Strong organization and time-management skills. * Ability to work independently and exercise appropriate judgment. * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends when necessary. * Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including assisting with client transfers and lifting when required. *Experience* We strongly encourage experienced *DSPs, Lead DSPs, caregivers, residential staff, and supported-living professionals who are ready to move into leadership* to apply. Relevant experience may include: * 2+ years as a Direct Support Professional or in another direct-care position; * 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience; or * Relevant experience coordinating services for adults with developmental disabilities.
