What You’ll Do: As our Accounting Manager, you will take ownership of full-cycle accounting and oversee the daily financial operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Your key responsibilities include: Manage all accounting operations: Oversee billing, accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), treasury, and general ledger (GL) functions. Prepare monthly financial statements: Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and analysis to support key business decisions. Ensure quality control: Maintain high standards for financial transactions, reporting, and analysis. Treasury and cash management: Oversee cash flow and ensure proper treasury management. Risk management: Handle commercial insurance and assess risk exposure for the company. Budgeting: Assist with budget creation and exposure, providing financial insights for forecasting and planning. General ledger management: Oversee and ensure the accuracy of GL entries and account reconciliations. Bank and credit card reconciliations: Manage reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate processing. Expense tracking and reporting: Ensure proper documentation and tracking of expenses. Month-end and year-end closings: Coordinate period-end closings, adjusting journal entries for payroll, accruals, and benefit/wage adjustments. Collaboration with HR: Assist with payroll processing, employee onboarding, and benefit tracking to ensure accuracy and compliance. Record keeping and inquiries: Maintain organized financial records and respond to both internal and external financial inquiries. A/R and A/P management: Supervise invoicing process, track payments, manage payables, and ensure timely and accurate transaction processing. Support COO with additional projects: Provide assistance with special projects, period-end closing, and any other financial tasks as required. What We’re Looking For: Education & Experience: At least an associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) and/or at least 2 years of experience as an Accounting Manager. GAAP Experience: Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required. Experience in the eight-step, Full Cycle Accounting Process is mandatory Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with experience in SharePoint and NetSuite being a plus. Soft Skills: Strong multitasking ability, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. Team Player: Ability to work well with a team, communicate effectively, and provide support across departments. Professionalism: High level of professionalism and confidentiality, especially in managing sensitive financial information. Problem-Solver: Ability to think on your feet, resolve issues, and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
