Through our products and the need for less packaging materials we reduce the carbon footprint."The future is circular“This position provides support to activities within the Finance department, month-end close processes, monthly accrual and prepaid calculations, balance sheet review, various operational expense reporting, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.Major/Key AccountabilitiesAid in the development and communication of the monthly freight expense review. Build strong review and actual per-unit trend reporting.Analyze and communicate monthly operational expense reportingAid in pool reporting as backup on monthly reporting, contractual matters, and annual reconciliationPrepare and report on quarterly and semi-annual intercompany transactions in accordance with contractual agreementsAssist service centers with expense review, accruals, and other reportingReview internal processes to ensure financial/reporting accuracy and integrityReview and monitor monthly balance sheet reconciliations, track outstanding items, and lead monthly balance sheet reviewsAssist in preparation and reporting for the year-end financial auditAssisting in other Finance department activitiesMeasuresWork exhibits a high degree of accuracy and work ethicAbility to organize and communicateSuccessfully meeting deadlinesProviding input for process improvementsAuthority/ Decision MakingThis position has general authority/decision-making but may guide other stakeholders relating to the finance department processes.ChallengesWorking with individual, department, and organizational deadlines.Key ContactsInternalThis position will need to work closely with members of Sr. Mgmt., Svc Centers, and Finance staff, and all other areas of the business.ExternalThis position will be required to work with outsource partners such as auditors, consultants, vendors, and other external parties.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or FinanceExperience5+ years of previous accountant-level experience requiredStrong process review and documentation backgroundPrevious experience working in a corporate environmentAdvanced proficiency with Excel requiredProficiency with SAP strongly desiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to handle multiple priorities and constraintsDetail-oriented and highly organizedFlexible and resourcefulComputer literacy required, including proficiency in standard business applications included in the Microsoft Office SuiteThis is a hybrid role that combines remote and in-office work.
