Find your future with us.Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for an Associate or Experienced Level Manufacturing Planner to join the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (ABMD) team located in Huntsville, Alabama. This role will be involved in production support activities as well as continuous development projects improving manufacturing.Position Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and planningCollaborate with the manufacturing engineering team to review manufacturing build flows for planning producibilityCreate and maintain manufacturing work instructionsIdentify and resolve manufacturing issues to improve product quality and production efficiencyLead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance overall manufacturing performanceEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standardsThis position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Experience in manufacturing planning & production support Experience in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills Experience reading, interpreting, and enforcing standardized manufacturing processes, work instructions, and engineering drawing and process procedures Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 2+ years of experience in manufacturing planning & production support STEM focused Associates degree Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiencesCompetent in Model-Based Design Competent in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Competent in MESci or similar Manufacturing system Competent in Material Resource Planning (MRP) Systems (eg.
