AIDE FOR DAYCARE CENTER
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aide for our daycare center to support the development and care of young children. This role involves assisting lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children, including those with special needs or disabilities. Responsibilities
Assist in supervising and engaging children during daily activities, playtime, and learning sessions
Support classroom management by maintaining a safe and organized environment
Help implement age-appropriate educational activities focused on childhood development and early learning goals
Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed
Support children with special needs or disabilities by applying appropriate caregiving techniques and behavior management strategies
Assist with classroom setup, cleaning, and sanitizing to ensure health standards are met
Collaborate with teachers to monitor children's progress and behavior
Follow all safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary
Communicate effectively with parents and team members regarding children's needs and daily activities
Experience
Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred
Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
Experience with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children is desirable
Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies
Certification in first aid is a plus but not required; training may be provided
Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is advantageous
Demonstrated ability to work well with people of all ages in a caregiving or educational environment
