Technical Project Manager Security

Job DescriptionThe organization is seeking a highly capable Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead and coordinate complex initiatives within the Information Security Engineering program. This role is responsible for driving execution across multiple engineering workstreams, ensuring alignment with security strategy, and delivering high-quality outcomes on schedule. The TPM will partner closely with engineering, architecture, SOC, cloud, and infrastructure teams and other stakeholders to manage project plans, technical dependencies, and cross-functional communication. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership for the planning, execution, and delivery of security engineering programs, ensuring all initiatives align with organizational priorities, long-term objectives, and established timelines.Support engineering teams by clarifying requirements, managing scope, and ensuring technical alignment across stakeholders.Translate security engineering requirements into structured project tasks and technical deliverables, and develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, schedules, and risk registers while proactively identifying, tracking, and mitigating risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.Coordinate cross-functional teams, including security engineering, SOC, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams, to ensure milestones, dependencies, and deliverables are met.Promote continuous improvement across project execution, delivery processes, and engineering workflows while driving accountability, resolving conflicts, and sustaining momentum across all teams.Serve as the primary point of contact for project status, risks, decisions, and stakeholder communication.Ensure transparency and accountability through structured reporting, dashboards, and communication plans.Support change management activities Required Skills & Qualifications8+ years of experience managing technical or security-focused projects in an enterprise environment.Strong proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models).Experience to lead complex, multi-team initiatives with competing priorities.Experience creating project plans, roadmaps, risk registers, and executive-level status reporting.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including presenting information to both technical teams and senior leadership.Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple concurrent initiatives.QualificationsPMP or equivalent project management certification. (must have)Recognized security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+). (nice to have)
