Description:Teachers at Cross Schools will inspire students spiritually, and academically. The teacher will foster a learning environment that promotes spiritual growth, academic excellence, and character development in alignment with Cross Schools' mission to develop the whole student.Position OverviewThis position includes teaching middle and upper school mathematics courses, contributing to a collaborative faculty culture, and investing in the life of the school community.Primary ResponsibilitiesTeach middle and upper school mathematics courses (potentially including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, or other advanced coursework based on experience)Design and implement engaging, standards-aligned lesson plansUse a variety of instructional strategies to support diverse learnersAssess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedbackMaintain consistent communication with students and familiesCreate a classroom environment that supports both academic growth and character formationParticipate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school eventsServe as an advisor, mentor, or club sponsor as assignedRequirements:Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in education, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)Valid state teaching certification or licensure (preferred)Experience teaching mathematics at middle school or upper school levelExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents/guardiansCommitment to ongoing professional growth and developmentPI804e26d5294a-26289-40621921
