Plate Mounter

Giro Pack, Inc. has an opening for a Plate Mounter position at our Vidalia, GA. location. Plate Mounters play an integral part in the manufacturing of products within the packaging industry and are responsible for the overall plate mounting operations with an emphasis on quality and efficiency as outlined by customer and manufacturing specifications.We are looking for candidates that are self-motivated, dedicated, dynamic and attention to detail focused. The plate mounter opening is a 3rd shift, 10:00 pm - 6:00 am, Monday - Friday position, however training will be conducted 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday until training is completed.Plate Mounter job duties include:Safely operate mounting plates machine & cleaning plates machineFollow printing planning orders and prioritiesMaintain/clean/lube machinery & work area according to proceduresComplete required forms/documentsFollow all inspection proceduresReceive/identify/check/operate/archive all mounting plates as requiredReport all shortcomings/imperfections/mechanical/electrical incidents to supervisorInsure plates correspond to the proper job assignmentRequirements and Skills:Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds, etc.)Commitment to safety rulesFamiliarity with power tools and machinery is a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentProblem solving skillsCommunication and teamwork skillsQuality and attention to detail focusedWarehouse experience is an asset, but not necessaryMust be able/willing to work a flexible scheduleJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $12.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftEvening shiftMonday to FridayNight shiftOvernight shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Vidalia, GA 30474: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Shift availability:Night Shift (Required)Overnight Shift (Required)Work Location: Vidalia, GA.
