At Access, our Culture Playbook isn’t a poster on the wall – it’s how we show up for each other and for the people we support.You’ll Be Part Of a Team That IsClear about expectationsSupportive and accountableFocused on outcomes that matter to people.And committed to helping people live the healthiest and fullest lives possible – while making sure out staff can do the same.Location: Middletown, NYPay Rate: $28.00 per hourHours: Full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (40 hours per week).Overview Of Primary ResponsibilitesEfficiently handle all payroll transactions using multiple systems including Dayforce, eVero, and other integration systems.Primary FunctionsCommunicate effectively, openly and honestly, with staff and leaders on a consistent basisResponsible to create and design useful spreadsheets and databases independentlyPerforms account reconciliations for payroll liability accounts on a monthly and yearly basisEnsures payroll taxes are paid timelyCompletes external audit work as assigned and assists with internal audit functionsPreparation of recurring and adjusting journal entries within areas of responsibilitySupport corporate financial statement preparation and complete subsidiary financialsEnsure statements balance and revenues and expenses appear appropriate Complete necessary financial ratios and assist with year-end projectionsUse intermediate computer skills which include knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, and database softwarePerform other duties as assignedAdditional Functional / Organizational SupportAssignments may be determined at a future dateQualifications And AttributesStrong communication skillsPrevious non-profit experience preferredThe ability to identify trends to effectively create solutions and streamline processesExcellent computer skills, including expert knowledge of Excel, Word, and database software for file maintenance, Ceridian Dayforce experience preferredBilingual English and Spanish speaking is a plusEducation And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, orAssociates degree in Accounting or Business, with 2 years of accounting/payroll experience, or5 year's payroll experiencePhysical CharacteristicsThese physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to perform the job's essential functions successfully.
