The role focuses on application support, maintenance, and development within a Java and Liferay-based environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide ongoing support and maintenance for enterprise portal applications to ensure stability, security, and performance Design, develop, and enhance new and existing applications hosted on the DFS enterprise portal Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams throughout the SDLC Troubleshoot and resolve application and portal issues to minimize downtime Participate in requirements gathering, technical design discussions, and code reviews Produce and maintain technical and functional documentation Support knowledge transfer and adhere to agency development standards REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 84+ months experience as a Java Web Developer (Expert level) 36+ months developing SOAP-based web services 12+ months developing applications or portlets for Liferay Portal 12+ months experience with JavaServer Faces (JSF) or PrimeFaces 12+ months experience writing SQL and/or PL/SQL in Oracle databases 12+ months experience creating and parsing XML and JSON specifications 12+ months experience using Apache Tomcat Server 12+ months experience working in Linux environments TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT Java, Oracle Liferay Portal, Apache Tomcat Linux VM Servers Email: deepakk@gainamerica.net Job Type: Contract Pay: Up to $65.00 per hour Work Location: In person
