The unit consists of 30 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6/7, with the willingness to manage up to 1:7 patients comfortably. The Nurse will work alongside a Charge Nurse, and there are Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) available to assist. The ideal candidate will have the ability to titrate heparin drips based on APTT results./n/nResponsibilities/n/n- Provide nursing care to patients with common diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, and more./n- Monitor patient health and vitals, and respond to changes in status./n- Utilize Epic as the primary charting system./n- Participate in a rotating floating requirement as needed based on census, prioritizing external travelers to float./n/n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n/n- BLS (AHA) certification required./n- NIHSS certification required./n- Must disclose any licensing hits at the time of submission./n/n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/nAt ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
