This position is offering a pay rate of $22.92/hr. however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. POSITION DESCRIPTION Work in different areas of seed production. Handle seed processing and packaging, including: Receiving and scanning seeds Cleaning and treating seeds Sorting and counting seeds Labeling and storing seeds Perform outdoor field work, such as: Planting Pollinating Hand harvesting Taking notes and entering data Use computers, Excel, and handheld devices to record information. Help with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Organize and move seeds into storage areas. Maintain accurate seed inventory using electronic systems. Follow all safety rules, SOPs, and instructions. Must be able to bend, lift, sit, or stand for long periods. May need to work extra hours during busy/peak seasons. Education Education: High school diploma/GED or related experience. Must understand English written and verbal instructions. Experience required: 1-3 years.
