This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable diving into data and reports as they are supporting recruitment, partnering with business leaders, and keeping day-to-day HR running smoothly.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Reporting:Own the preparation and distribution of regular HR reports and dashboards for leadership, covering headcount, attrition, hiring, and other key workforce metricsTranslate HR data into meaningful insights and trends to support strategic workforce planning and decision-makingMaintain data integrity across HR systems, ensuring accuracy of employee records and reporting inputsRecruitment:Support end-to-end recruitment as needed, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and offer administrationSource candidates through multiple channels including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and networkingManage and maintain the ATS, ensuring data accuracy and a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring processTrack recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to leadership on pipeline status and time-to-fillHR Business Partner Support:Provide day-to-day HRBP support to assigned business units on an as-needed basis, including employee relations guidance, performance management, and general HR advisorySupport performance review cycles by tracking completion, sending reminders, and compiling documentationConduct exit interviews, identify patterns, and provide retention insights to HR leadershipAttendance Tracking:Administer and monitor employee attendance, leave, and time-off records in accordance with company policyIdentify and flag attendance trends or anomalies to HR leadership, partnering to address patterns proactivelyAdminister and maintain leave of absence records, ensuring continuity and complianceHRIS Management:Serve as an administrator and point of contact for the HRIS platform, maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee dataProcess employee lifecycle changes (new hires, transfers, promotions, separations) within the HRIS in a timely and accurate mannerIdentify opportunities to optimize HRIS utilization and partner with vendors or internal stakeholders on system enhancementsPayroll Support:Assist with payroll processing on a periodic basis, including review of timekeeping data, input of payroll changes, and resolution of discrepanciesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field3+ years of broad HR experience spanning multiple HR functionsHybrid work schedule, must be willing to come into our downtown Houston officeExperience in a fast-paced, high-growth, or start-up environmentHands-on experience with HRIS platforms (Deel and ADP preferred) and strong proficiency in maintaining system dataFamiliarity with payroll processes and the ability to support payroll administration as neededStrong analytical skills with the ability to build and interpret HR reports and dashboardsExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to handle confidential information with the utmost discretionStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and HR technology platformsExperience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) is a plusAbout MoraeMorae is a dynamic, high-growth organization that provides an integrated suite of solutions to corporate law departments and law firms, and partners with leading software and services providers, both within and outside the legal industry.
