AMBA is a new shawarma concept opening in Wynwood. Fast, high-volume, open kitchen, Middle Eastern street food. We are hiring our opening team now.
The dish station is the backbone of our kitchen. Nothing runs without it, and we treat this role that way — with real pay, real respect, and a real path to move up into prep and the line if that is what you want.
*What You'll Do*
* Wash dishes, pots, pans, sheet trays, and smallwares throughout service
* Operate and maintain the dish machine — set up, run, break down, and clean at end of shift
* Keep clean product moving back to the line so stations never run out
* Take out trash and recycling, break down boxes, and keep the loading area clean
* Sweep and mop kitchen floors, clean drains, and maintain the dish area
* Support deep-cleaning tasks: hoods, shelving, walk-in, equipment
* Help receive and put away deliveries
* Assist prep with basic tasks as needed and as you learn
* Follow all sanitation and chemical safety procedures
*What We're Looking For*
* No experience required — we will train you
* Hard-working and dependable; you show up on time
* Able to stand for 8+ hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a hot, wet, fast-moving environment
* Team player with a good attitude
* Weekend and evening availability
* Authorized to work in the United States
* Must be 18 or older
