For the contractor to meet Region 9 requirements and to fulfill the contract position the following elements must be met. Oversight of the contract will be provided by the Ed Services Director or their designee. The contractor shall:Adhere to applicable federal and state law and local policies and regulations for public education entities, including but not limited to 6.60.9 NMAC (Code of Ethics), FERPA, HIPAA, etc.).Communicate positively and effectively with parents, children, colleagues, and other agency personnel while maintaining confidentiality regarding all facets of Region 9 programs in compliance with FERPA/HIPAA and other federal and state confidentiality regulations.Maintain an atmosphere that protects the privacy and confidentiality of student and personnel records and information.Maintain licensure from the appropriate NM Board and the Public Education Department in NM.Provide Therapeutic services under their licensure to students in Region 9 member districts.Perform therapy evaluations as allowed under the appropriately licensed discipline, including a written report.Participate in the development of and attend the Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings.Deliver services in accordance with the frequency and intensity indicated on the IEP.Attend all required meetings at Region 9 and member districts to ensure service delivery and documentation in alignment with Region 9 procedures, and Federal and State guidelines.The contractor will be required to use an assigned Region 9 email address in order to meet the above requirements for confidentiality, their responsibilities for communication, reporting and delivery of services.Client DetailsAddressMM 286 Hwy. 70 E, P.O.
