Pleasant, Hanahan, Summerville, Goose Creek West Ashley, Isle of Palms and Daniel Island.Pay: Starting pay rate: $18.25 per hour. After working more than 16 hours per week for 4 consecutive weeks, your pay rate will increase by $1 per hour.Shifts: Now hiring for full-time and part-time positions. We have a variety of 4 to 12 hour shifts Monday through Sunday. We have day, night, and overnight shifts available. Caregiver responsibilities will vary based on assignments. Caregiver tasks may include but are not limited to:Personal care assistance such as dressing, bathing, and groomingLight housekeepingMeal and snack preparationTransportation and errand servicesMonitoring client conditionsUpdating care notesDementia and Alzheimer's careCompanion careHome safety inspectionsMust be 18 years or olderHigh school diploma or GEDAny state-mandated certificationMust pass a drug test and background checkMinimum of 1 to 2+ year(s) adult personal care assistance experienceMinimum of 1+ year(s) professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors.Must have a valid South Carolina driver's license, provide current registration and insurance, and have a clean driving record if transporting clientsMcLeod Home Care is an equal opportunity employer
