Pinckneyville Community Hospital located at 5383 State Route 154, Pinckneyville IL 62274 seeks two (2) Medical Laboratory Technologists-MT to perform all laboratory procedures in a prompt, accurate, and reliable manner according to established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, participate in the proper collection of blood specimens, the proper handling of specimens and the final distribution of specimens to the specific testing area, perform analysis, which requires a complex network of steps and variables, use and monitor quality control procedures within predetermined parameters, confirm and verify results by having in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments, correlate and interpret laboratory data based on knowledge of physiological conditions affecting test results at 5383 State Route 154, Pinckneyville IL. Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in medical technology, its equivalent or its foreign equivalent, plus two years’ experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist, Medical Technologist, Medical Lab Technician, or Clinic Laboratory Technologist, and must be registered or certified as a MLS(ASCP), MLS(ASCPi), MLS(ASCPi)cm, AMT, RMT, or MT.
