Gulf Coast is part of CRH America's growing Texas-based network of 47 locations and over 1,200 employees statewide.The Mechanic will be responsible for performing all needed inspections and repairs on On-Highway End Dump Trucks, Tractors, Trailers, and Fleet in a safe and effective manner.2 years' plus experience in Diesel Mechanics Preferred if candidate has Cummins software and/or Paccar software experience Good electrical diagnostics ability/experience Experience working on Peterbilts, Kenworths and Internationals Provide own hand tools (1 " wrenches and sockets) and storage necessary to perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment Effective written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated and capable of following directions and effectively work in a team environment Welding / Fabricating experience a plus Ability to recognize and react to safety related issues Computer skills a plus Good attitude is a MUSTWhat CRH Americas Offers You A culture that values opportunity for growth, development and internal promotion Highly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs
