Assistant Manager
Full-Time | Hourly | Health-Focused Fast-Casual Restaurant
SnackLab is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic full-time Assistant Manager to join our team at our Bentonville location. We're a fast-paced health-forward concept offering smoothies, bowls, grab-and-go meals, organic cold-pressed juices, toxin-free espresso and coffee, and wholesome snacks. This role is ideal for someone who leads by example, thrives in a hands-on environment, and is passionate about wellness and teamwork.
The Assistant Manager will play a key role in supporting daily operations, supervising and working alongside the team in food, juice, and coffee production, and ensuring each guest receives an exceptional experience. Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily operations, including cold-pressed juice, coffee, smoothie, and food preparation, inventory control, and guest service
Lead by example by working directly on the production line to support and coach team members
Supervise, train, and mentor staff to deliver a consistently excellent guest experience
Handle staffing and scheduling needs to ensure proper coverage during peak hours
Participate in hiring, onboarding, and evaluating team performance
Understand and recommend items from our full menu — including organic juices, coffee drinks, and gluten-free, health-conscious meals
Manage inventory levels, place orders, and minimize waste
Ensure the restaurant complies with Arkansas health and safety standards (cleanliness, food handling, hygiene)
Collaborate with the General Manager to drive sales and promote upselling
Handle customer concerns and team issues professionally and constructively
Assist with local marketing efforts, including social media content creation and in-store promotions aligned with our brand mission
Job Requirements
Minimum 7 year of supervisory experience, ideally in food service, a juice bar, coffee shop, and/or fast-casual setting
Hands-on leadership style and strong communication skills to both support and lead the team
Open availability, including some weekends and holidays
Willingness to assist with catering and special event support
Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with change and transformation
High integrity, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
Familiarity with POS and inventory management software is a plus
Passion for health, wellness, and experience with organic, gluten-free, or plant-based food trends is highly valued
Social media skills or content creation experience is a bonus
