Job Description:Insight Global's client is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to support large‑scale satellite internet technology used by millions of devices worldwide. In this role, you’ll write low‑level software that runs directly on custom hardware such as antennas, modems, and specialized chips. You’ll work across the full software lifecycle—development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support—helping deliver reliable, secure satellite internet on a global scale.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 1+ year of software engineering experience OR 3+ years of professional software engineering experienceResponsibilitiesDevelop embedded software for custom hardware deployed globallyBuild tools and infrastructure to support reliable software updatesImprove performance and reliability of satellite internet systemsDesign telemetry systems that scale across millions of devicesBuild secure, resilient software resistant to system attacksNice to HaveExperience with C, C++, Golang, Python, or RustEmbedded or low‑level systems development backgroundExperience debugging and shipping software on real devicesStrong fundamentals in networking (TCP/IP), systems, and debuggingExposure to security concepts in distributed or internet‑facing systems
