Temporary Associate Project Technician

Position SummaryThe Associate Project Technician supports ASRC Field Services at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson through research, data analysis, and administrative coordination. This role is responsible for compiling reports, maintaining records, and assisting with project tracking to ensure smooth departmental operations. The Associate Project Technician works closely with the Program Manager, QA Manager, and departmental leads to implement updates and support project execution.This is a temporary position ending 07/31/2026.Essential Job FunctionsAssist in the implementation and maintenance of the AIMS inventory systemSupport fleet management operations for service vehiclesMonitor and track programmatic and project-related tasksCompile reports and summaries with limited supervisionUpdate, review, and maintain records, forms, and documentationConduct data analysis and create reports and spreadsheets in Excel to track program benchmarksAssist in identifying trends and providing recommendations for process improvementsServe as a point of contact for cross-departmental coordination and communicationProvide administrative support for overall program managementPerform other duties as assignedMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of 1-3 years of related experience in project coordination, data analysis, or administrative supportProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong organizational and time-management skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting project management or special projectsIntermediate to advanced Excel skills (data tracking, reporting, analysis)Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarize data and support decision-makingAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and stakeholdersHigh level of interpersonal skills, professionalism, tact, and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment
