Front Desk Receptionist/Volunteer Coordinator
Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm$500.00 Sign on Bonus, amazing benefit and PTO package$20.00/hrThe Front Desk Receptionist & Volunteer Coordinator is the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff. This role is responsible for providing professional front desk and administrative support, while also serving as a Volunteer Coordinator. This position will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion. Front Desk Receptionist portion of this job will be shared on daily basis and the number of hours per day may vary depending on the tasks required.RequirementsPass pre-employment physical and PA state police background checkProgressive experience in office mgmt. or administrative leadership, including supervisory roleProficiency in Microsoft office suite, project mgmt. tools, and office mgmt. softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership, organizational, and problems solving skillsAbility to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment, managing competing priorities and meeting deadlinesVery energetic and positive with a servant leadership mindsetReliable detail oriented and self-motivatedAbility to work under pressure and independentlyA self-starterStrong ethical conduct and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretionHigh school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree preferred).Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and welcome guests coming into the buildingTrack arrival and departure times for participantsAnswer and screen incoming phone calls and direct to appropriate personLog participant attendance in Teams spreadsheetReceive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveriesMaintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception deskAssist with administrative tasks as needed by other departmentsPromote a positive inclusive and professional office culture aligned with organizations values and goalsOpen and close front officeMaintain a healthy and safe work environmentDevelop and implement LVS volunteer program across programs and eventsIdentify areas that require volunteer support, develop a pool of volunteersCoordinate the onboarding process for new volunteers, including registration, orientation and trainingMaintain up to date volunteer database and contact listProvide ongoing support and development opportunities to ensure volunteer growthCreate and manage volunteer schedules to ensure adequate coverage for LVS events and projects. Give oversight or designate oversight at all volunteer activitiesPlan routine volunteer communications and appreciationIdentify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in the volunteer programMaintain accurate records of volunteer activities, attendance, and performance.
