📍 Dallas, TX | Hybrid Opportunities AvailableCV Resources is partnering with a growing organization in the Dallas area to identify an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations and financial reporting activities.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys building processes, partnering with executive leadership, and driving accurate, timely financial reporting. The Controller will oversee the monthly close process, manage accounting operations, support audits, and ensure the organization maintains strong internal controls and financial compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reportingManage month-end and year-end close processesPrepare and review financial statements and supporting schedulesMaintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and proceduresOversee account reconciliations and resolve accounting discrepanciesCoordinate external audits and support compliance requirementsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementPartner with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendationsIdentify opportunities to improve processes and increase operational efficiencyMentor and develop accounting staffQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilitiesStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingExperience overseeing month-end close and audit processesAdvanced Excel skills and experience working in ERP systemsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsCPA designation preferred but not required
