Forklift Operator / Material HandlerShift/ Wage: $16/hr. Monday - Friday 3pm to 11:30pmJob SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator / Material Handler to safely operate powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment to load, unload, transport, and position materials throughout the facility. Equipment may include gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered forklifts and other industrial vehicles equipped with lifting devices.This is an entry-level opportunity for candidates with 0–1 year of previous experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and willing to learn proper equipment operation and safety procedures. The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive to detail, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, and position materials.Transport raw materials, finished products, supplies, pallets, and other items throughout the facility.Operate equipment equipped with lifting devices such as forks, elevating platforms, or buckets.Load and unload trucks, trailers, storage areas, and designated production or warehouse locations.Properly position and store materials according to established procedures.Inspect material handling equipment before use and report any damage, defects, or safety concerns.Follow all facility safety procedures and powered industrial truck operating requirements.Maintain awareness of pedestrians, equipment, materials, and surrounding work areas while operating equipment.Assist with general material handling and warehouse activities as needed.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Follow instructions from supervisors and work effectively as part of a team.Complete required documentation and material movement records accurately.Support production and warehouse operations as needed.Perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.0–1 year of previous forklift, warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred.Previous forklift experience is a plus, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.Ability and willingness to learn safe forklift and powered industrial truck operation.Strong attention to safety and detail.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.\nCompany DescriptionCollaborative offers a full range of services throughout the United States, actively recruiting consultants nationwide.
