Electrical Embedded Systems Engineer
Role: Embedded Systems Engineer

Role summary:
This engineer will join the R&D team and design and integrate control architectures for multi-kilowatt programmable DC power supplies. The work covers the full lifecycle, from control modeling and embedded firmware through high-voltage hardware validation.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop and tune high-bandwidth PI, PID and state-space control models in MATLAB and Simulink
* Implement deterministic bare-metal C firmware for TI C2000 microcontrollers
* Develop low-level drivers for PWM, ADC, CAN and Ethernet
* Design mixed-signal and high-voltage two-layer to four-layer PCBs in Altium
* Perform PCB bring-up, hardware-in-the-loop validation and lab debugging
* Use oscilloscopes, power analyzers and differential probes
* Support signal integrity, design for manufacturing and production sustainment
* Collaborate on UL, IEC and CE compliance
Required qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or a closely related field, master's preferred
* 5+ years of professional power-electronics engineering experience
* Strong switching-converter design experience
* Hands-on MATLAB and Simulink control-loop modeling and auto-code generation
* Expert bare-metal C programming using TI C2000 or a comparable 32-bit real-time MCU
* Altium, high-voltage PCB design and PCB bring-up
* Laboratory communications and automation using SCPI and Python
Pay: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
