Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is a member of the Accounting & Control Team reporting to the Accounting Supervisor based in St. Paul, MN. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting and month-end close procedures as well as serving as a finance partner to the divisions and functions across the company.What You Will DoSupport the Ecolab North America monthly general ledger close process in SAPAnalyze monthly financial results for the North America entitiesPrepare various journal entries during the monthly close processWork closely with the Global Business Services (GBS) teams in Buenos Aires and Pune during month-end close, and throughout the month, on various accounting proceduresPrepare and review monthly account reconciliations for various balance sheet accountsAssist in the quarterly balance sheet fluctuation review of the Ecolab entitiesPrepare documentation to support external and internal auditsPerform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretationMaintain and enhance department processes, procedures, and related documentationPerform other ad hoc duties as assigned to support department needsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of accounting and/or finance experienceNo immigration sponsorship available for this positionPreferred QualificationsCPA or CMAPublic accounting experienceExperience with SAP, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Blackline and Microsoft Office ApplicationsStrong accounting background, attention to detail, and well-developed organizational skillsResults oriented, proactive, and possesses a high level of integritySolid verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work with a high level of initiative and adaptability in a dynamic environmentDemonstrates ability to work well across divisions and functionsAnnual Or Hourly Compensation RangeThe pay range for this position is $74,700.00 - $112,200.00.
